Well hello. Welcome to the Isle of Fable. This is the last place remaining that still has Magyks who are part of the society. There are two groups on this island though, those who do not mind the company of the Magyks and those who don't trust them. These are the two sides, the Myths and the Norms.
Take a look at the rules and feel free to join either side with whatever is available. If you have any questions or suggestions at all, please feel free to PM myself (send to admin) or post it on the appropriate board. Bon temps! [Good times!]

Horo is the only person who has been on constantly for the past while. Only one person has an excuse to not be around, and I am disappointed in you all for not sticking around more regularly. So congratulations Horo, and thank you.
Myth is, after all, the neverending story.

The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie -- deliberate, contrived and dishonest -- but the myth -- persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.

Here you will find the site rules as well as all the information about the site and it's history and the different ranks and species. It is crucial that you read this before making your character.
Here you will find any major announcement made by staff. Activity checks will also be found here. It is important that you read each new thread as it comes up so you are up to date on the happenings around our lovely Fable.
Here is where you'll create your characters. You'll find a couple forms in here that you should take a look at before you start. Also note the bans on different things, and remember that your character must be accepted before you can roleplay them.
Known simply as the Castle, this is where the King and many of his people reside. The castle resides on top of a hill, with it's grounds reaching down the southern slope. The town surrounding the castle houses many who are rather well off, but also those who grew up there. The houses and castle are made of stone that has been enchanted by Jack to keep them from falling and protecting the people in the town. The tall wall stretches around the grounds, protecting all inside.
Antequitor [An-teh-kwih-dor] is the small town in the valley below the castle. Most of the people who live here are farmers, work for farmers, or they have a small garden. Some of the houses are partially made of stone, but most of them are a combination of wood and clay. Many of the people here are very friendly, but there are a few who seem more anti-social that the rest.
Genoa [Jen-oh-wa] is the name of the forest that surrounds the castle and town. It's a wonderful place filled with many mysteries. There is a group who chooses to live here in their own camp setup, simply because they enjoy the forest. This place holds many wonders, who knows what will be found here next.
This is the mountain range that separates the two territories. The mountains stay snow-capped all year round and house many different creatures. Those Magyks that don't agree with the king, or who are just naturally dark-hearted make their home here. The valleys and forests around these mountains also house some humans who were outlawed from the Norms, and don't like the Myths either. They are stuck in the middle, wanting nothing to do with either side.
Berleg [bur-leg] is a very secluded camp. It's just that too, a camp. It's set up with most everyone living in tent-type homes for the most part, though some have been able to move up and build their own house from wood and clay. It's not the most comfortable place, but to most it's all they know and they are perfectly fine with it. The leader has their own stone house that was constructed right off when the Norms got there. The Norms don't generally wander too far for too long.
There aren't many beaches along the shore , but it's still a nice place to be. This includes the entire length around the island. There are many places where the rocks just drop off in a cliff to the water and these are good places to sit and watch the tide come in.
